Supposed Pleasure

Definition of "Supposed"
  • pretend
  • presumed to be true or real
  • accepted or believed as true
God has never said life would not have pleasures.  Pleasure from God are His blessings when we follow His will, and "supposed pleasure" comes from sin.  We see something the world likes and presume it is a real pleasure.  Lust, Glutony, Addictions.  They are false pleasures and do harm instead of good.
Every supposed pleasure in sin will furnish more than its equivalent of pain until belief in material life and sin is destroyed.

Prayer

Every false pleasure in sin will furnish more than its equivalent of pain until belief in material life and sin is destroyed.  Prayer is not a safety valve for wrong doing.  Calling on God to forgive our poor work or work left undone, implies the vain assumption that we have nothing to do but ask for pardon, and that afterwards we shall be free to repeat the offense.
** Jesus uncovered (exposed) and then rebuked sin BEFORE he cast it out!

Truth Is...

My doctors called my family in to let them know I wouldn't make it through the night.  People always say how wrong the doctors were because I am still here.
~*~ Truth is ...the doctors were right.  I did die.  It's by Jesus' saving grace I am still here.

People have always celebrated the fact that God worked a miracle in me, because I am alive again and able to live here on Earth with my family and friends.  I celebrate the fact He uses me to show His miraculous power, not the fact I am alive again.
~*~ Truth is ...I would much rather be with Him.

Uniheritated blessings

Genesis 48
This scripture tells the story of Joseph returning to his peoples land to visit his ailing father Jacob.  Joseph took his two sons with him.  Jacob was happy to be able to see his beloved son one more time before he dies.  He was overwhelmed when he saw that God had blessed him to be able to see his grandsons also.  Jacob told Joseph that he would bless his grandsons as his own children.  In those days the first born received the greater blessing and the right hand gave the greater blessing, so the oldest was blessed with the right hand. Because of Jacob's failing eyesight Joseph positioned his oldest son Maheaan in front of his right hand and his second born, Ephrem, in front of Joseph's left hand.  When Jacob went to bless them he crossed his arms and placed his right hand on Ephrem. Joseph tried to correct him, but Jacob stopped him because he was doing the will of God.  These are uninheritated blessings.  Blessings we are not in line to recieve.  Blessings we do not deserve.  but when we persever and stay in the will of God, he will bring us to the front and bless us with rewards we do not deserve.

A Different Perspective

I have been alive approximately 329,496 hours.  An estimated amount of 27 hours was spent with Jesus.  That was the most fulfilling time of my life.
